A mural in the NEON District of Norfolk Va (NEON stands for: New Energy Of Norfolk, and is the arts and music district of the city). If you notice, there are neon lights on this (as well as several other murals), and they are lit up at night. #CitiesContest

The city of Norfolk Va has “Mermaids on Parade”. Businesses, even residents, can purchase a mermaid and have an artist decorate her based on a theme (her location, a specific cause, etc.) They are usually located outside, but sometimes inside too, and their location can change or a mermaid outright disappear. Many locals take up the challenge of searching for them all. “Go Diva” is located inside of a mall, and has had many people wondering if she’s really made of chocolate or not. #CitiesContest
